Business Impact: Cost of Turnover and Retention
1 Lesson -
You chose a career in Human Resources
because you want to help people and
make a difference at your organization.
But you can't seem to get anyone to listen to your recommendations.
Your boss asks you for "the numbers" but every time you try to calculate turnover rates, you end up confused...frustrated...and demotivated.
You spend hours coming up with tables and percentages that you're not quite sure are correct, and that no one seems to pay any attention to.
IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE THIS WAY
...you knew exactly how to calculate turnover rates? You could practically do it in your sleep!
...you could explain to your manager what they mean confidently and persuasively?
...YOU were the one who was able to give your leadership the numbers they keep asking for, once and for all?
In 6 weekly modules I'll walk you through:
SWAG!!
Everyone who turns in their Module 6 Business Case slide deck
will receive a never-before seen "Team Data" t-shirt to wear with pride.
You'll have earned it!
The first episode will be released on Tuesday, November 29 and will continue weekly through the end of December.
You'll be able to listen to the course just like you listen to your favorite podcast...because it will be a private podcast feed!
Listen in Apple, Spotify, Google and others.
You'll get 3 months of access to my weekly Zoom room, Coffee With The Prof. Ask me questions and get support while you're implementing what you've learned in your own organization.
I'll walk you through the templates I've created especially for this course. These are the same templates I've used with clients just like you to take the mystery out of how to calculate and present these rates.
Get a head start on explaining and communicating what you find with my mad-lib style templates and scripts. Plug in your own unique results and get the outline of the story your numbers are telling.
You might find it hard to believe but I wasn't born with a calculator in my hand. I double-majored in college in History and in French literature. Not much math involved with either of those!
It was in graduate school that I came up against an obstacle: in order to study the topic I wanted, I had to learn statistics and surveys. It took me a while to come to grips with this, but eventually I hunkered down and did the work to learn these tools.
And I found out I was really good at it!
Fast forward to starting my consulting company....I realized how much I could help businesses treat their employees better just by teaching people like you how to use numbers and interpret them.
I’ve taught hundreds of students at higher ed institutions in the Northeast through my popular certificate programs, workshops and bootcamps. Now I want to bring those skills to HR professionals.
Because once you understand how to analyze the data at your fingertips, you can start to make the changes that you see need to happen in your organization. The changes that you haven’t been able to advocate for. Until now.
